Manchester Scenewipe
The Assignment
Manchester Scenewipe are a collective of visual artists and music enthusiasts helping to promote and celebrate the music scene in Manchester by filming live performances of local acts in peculiar locations around the city. We were tasked with expanding their original site into a fully scaled magazine site with reviews, gig listings and blogs as well as their extensive archive of videos.
The Solution
We created a cool, smart and easy to navigate site that helps celebrate the scene in a fun, simple and elegant way. The homepage acts as a portal into the inner sections of the site, which present the latest info effortlessly, and have their own unique slant and design tangs. Archives are easy to delve into, and promoted items are easily adapted into the system. The site is also linked well with social networks, creating great conversations and discussion throughout.
The Upshot
We created a site that helps people stay in touch with the music scene in Manchester, and has extensive archives that are fun and involving to browse through. The site also acts as a magazine, and is designed for people to return to weekly to find out the latest information.
Thanks so much for making the site of our dreams. Really took our video archive up to the next level, a full on magazine that we love.
