Salford City Stadium
Salford City Stadium is the new multi purpose stadium with a range of leisure and conferencing facilties. It is also the new home of the Salford CIty Reds Rugby League Team.
The Assignment
We were tasked with developing the website with a strict budget and tight turnaround time in mind. The stadium wanted the site to be easily managed by the on site staff, highly secure and communicate with a number of third party booking and payment systems. We also need to comply to high WCAG AA accessibility standards.
The Solution
We created a very clean, manageable CMS system, which we customised to suit the communication of third party systems (booking, payment, events). We made sure we used a secure flexible framework which allowed for tight user permissions for all stakeholders, regular updates and the addition of extra functionality with ease.
The Upshot
The site was launched on time and on budget with the site proving to be an instant hit among the council, private stakeholders and the general public. The site has seen a steady growth in traffic and engagement since launch.
